A fine stay of a Scotland road trip. Clean, hip new hotel. Perfectly based in a very pleasant area. Set next to pubs and cafés, very attentive and particularly helpful staff. Comfortable bed in double room with luggage storage, an electric kettle, and coffee. Private parking off site provided. Simple check out.

I enjoyed staying in this reasonably priced place. Continental breakfast was fresh and nice hot especially for meat eaters. The hotel had a magnificent and perfect location easy to get there by tram. I tried some drinks at bar Makars Gourmet Mash Bar, located 10 minutes walk away. Got all I wanted, very good value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and would stay there again. Big and fairly clean hotel, location was good and fab very close to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood House Palace, National Museum, dozens of restaurants, and hill to the Royal mile road. Everyone was useful and the room was a decent size. The breakfast was extraordinary with sweet, black pudding, garlic mushrooms for the continental breakfast.

The venue is beautifully designed, tidy and the location is excellent and perfect really close to the cathedral and fabulous castle as well as restaurants shops and coffee shops. Friendly efficient staff with the service we received from the staff, they can also create a quiet atmosphere. It's perfectly located close to night life. Old Town district is worth seeing.

Bar was perfect for breakfast. Our room was recently refurbished and top quality with very comfortable beds and the continental breakfast offered has variety of dishes. The hotel was perfectly located, adjacent to sightseeing, restaurants and bars, the centre of all the life and castle and royal mile and set in a very pleasant area.
